GLORIOUS sunshine greeted walkers for the annual Grappenhall Walking Day when local girl Rebecca Collins, aged 13, (pictured above) was crowned St Wilfrid’s Rose Queen.
Meanwhile Gabrielle Groves (pictured below) aged 10 was crowned Rose Bud at the annual event, when hundreds of villagers took part in the annual walk of witness by members of St Wilfrid’s Church, followed by various activities on the school playing fields.
