With a distribution centre on Omega, Warrington-based Davanti Tyres has sponsored local football club Warrington Rylands Women FC.
Davanti has contributed £2,000, enabling the team to buy their own training kit after previously using the old men’s team match day kit.
The women’s team – which has been running since 2024 – currently sits 4th in Division 1 of the Liverpool Women’s & Youth Football League.
Holly Evans, team coach, said: “The sponsorship from Davanti means a lot to both the club and all the girls. It’s really nice to see that companies are investing in women’s football and have belief in what we are building here at Warrington Rylands. For the girls, it is creating a sense of professionalism and camaraderie within the squad, giving them even more pride in representing the club. It gives us more motivation to keep pushing forward as a club. We are incredibly grateful for Davanti’s support for the season.”
