New Balance Foundation (NBF) has donated a significant quantity of sportswear to Warrington Youth Zone, providing young people across Warrington with new t-shirts, shorts, body warmers, backpacks, and other sports apparel to enjoy and take home.
The generous donation has been distributed to young people accessing Warrington Youth Zone’s wide range of services, with the sportswear providing a practical and exciting way for young people to benefit from the continued partnership between the global sportswear brand’s charitable foundation and the local youth charity.
The donation even became part of a special activity for younger members during Juniors, with Warrington Youth Zone hosting games of bingo where the donated items were offered as prizes. The response was particularly strong, with a large number of young people getting involved, and, importantly, everyone who took part went home with some New Balance kit to enjoy.
The donation builds on the Foundation’s long-standing support of Warrington Youth Zone as a Founder Patron. Through its Founder Patron partnership, NBF provides an annual grant to support Warrington Youth Zone’s vital efforts in supporting young people across the community.
Alongside its grantmaking, New Balance Foundation aims to make a direct difference through volunteerism and gifts in kind. These contributions support Warrington Youth Zone’s programmes and activities, while helping ensure young people have access to equipment and clothing that can enhance their experience at the Youth Zone.
