A seductive slice of cabaret heaven is gracing Parr Hall’s stage next year.
The ‘devilishly funny and gloriously glamorous’ Fascinating Aïda will be heading back on the road following their hugely successful 40th anniversary tour.
New show, Bawdacious, will make its debut this Christmas at Southbank Centre’s Queen Elizabeth Hall before touring the UK next spring and autumn – with a performance in Warrington on 13 October 2027.
Proudly analogue in an age of digital, Bawdacious promises new material alongside favourites from their four-decade strong back catalogue – all wrapped up within their signature intimate, bawdy and satirical style.
Often described as the world’s greatest cabaret troupe, the core trio consists of founding member Dillie Keane, Liza Pulman and Adèle Anderson with support from Michael Roulston on the piano.
A spokesperson for the tour said: “With brand new songs generated by human neural networks and using their combined deep-learning age of 278 years, they have data-mined their back catalogue to bring audiences their greatest, most sensationally analogue show ever!”
Fascinating Aïda formed in 1983. Over the years, they have cemented a loyal and growing fanbase nationwide, and have been nominated for a number of prestigious accolades including the Olivier Award and the Perrier Comedy Award (now known as the Edinburgh Comedy Award).
Fascinating Aïda’s Bawdacious comes to Parr Hall on Wednesday, 13 October, 2027, and tickets are on sale now. Call Box Office on 01925 442345 or visit parrhall.culturewarrington.org/whats-on/fascinating-aida
