MAYOR of Warrington Cllr. Sagheer Zaman was on hand to officially cut the ribbon to signal the opening of a new 237 housing development at Grappenhall Heys.

Once complete, Alderbrook Manor, located south of Curzon Drive, will feature 237 new homes across 30 acres of land. Properties include a range of three, four and five-bedroom designs from Redrow’s Heritage Collection, including 30% affordable homes.

The ribbon cutting was followed by a celebratory weekend of cooking demonstrations from award-winning chef Adie Munt, live music, facepainting, refreshments and waffles on sticks.
“I’d like to thank the Mayor of Warrington, Councillor Sagheer Zaman, for officially opening Alderbrook Manor,” said Amanda Jones, sales director at Redrow NW.
“It was great to have so many people join us and take a look around our show homes. This development is located in a much sought after location. We know it’s going to be a great place to live and also somewhere the wider community can enjoy.”

All properties within the development will feature air source heat pumps to provide heating and hot water, reducing homeowners’ energy use, plus underfloor heating to the ground floors and EV charging points.
The development will also boast extensive areas of green open space, mature trees, two new play areas and footpaths to connect to local walking routes.
