THREE men have been arrested on suspicion of affray and drug offences following a disturbance at Old Hall, Warrington, yesterday, Monday.
The incident saw the police helicopter and armed officers deployed to the disturbance following reports that one of the suspects was possibly armed with a weapon.
Cheshire Police have today confirmed that at around 10 am on Monday, 3 August, police were called to reports of a disturbance at an address on Nansen Close, Warrington.
The caller reported that there had been an altercation between a number of people and one of the suspects was possibly armed with a weapon.
Local officers, supported by the firearms unit and NPAS, were deployed to the scene where three men, aged 38, 35, and 32, were arrested on suspicion of affray and drug offences.
They remain in custody at this time.
There were no reports of any injuries and enquiries remain ongoing.
