FINAL preparations are underway until Warrington sees the relaunch of its very own Warrington Business Expo this Friday, March 20th at the Village Hotel.
Despite the wait – it last ran in 2013 – the Expo returns with a programme packed with value for local entrepreneurs, business owners and professionals looking for connection and collaboration opportunities to support their growth.
The event involves over 12 speakers throughout the day, including a welcome address from local government and Chair of Warrington BID, Dave McNicholl, and later a keynote presentation from Dave Thompson, CEO of Warrington Disability Partnership.
There will be ‘Why Warrington’ interviews with Tom Jennings, Director of Causeway Creative, and Rachel Peacock, CEO of Making Spaces, discussing why Warrington punches above its weight and is a great business base and springboard location for opportunity further afield.
In the afternoon, six tech experts will tackle essential business tech considerations during a panel session entitled ‘Tomorrow’s Tech’.
Weaved between the speaker content, delegates can visit the exhibitor hall featuring over 30 local businesses and benefit from learning and support from three workshops – one on LinkedIn by Social Media Executive and two delivered by Google covering AI and Google tools. The Google sessions are part of their #GrowwithGoogle training series and can be attended standalone or as part of the Expo ticket.
Attendees can also expect networking and an invite to feature on the event’s live podcast run by Prism Studios.
Access to the Expo requires a ticket and advance rates are less than door prices. Delegates will also receive a gift bag and gain access to the post-event networking social.
With such a vast programme on offer, Warrington Business Expo promises to be one of the most valuable business events of the year.
