PLANS have been submitted for the change of use of a dog grooming parlour at the Cheshire Dogs Home at Grappenhall to a café.
The proposals, currently being studied by borough council planners at Warrington, involve alterations to one internal room.
There are no alterations proposed to the building and internal changes will include installation of kitchen equipment and café seating.
The café will operate within the existing opening hours and primarily serve those already visiting the Dogs Home.
The change of use will support the charity’s operations by providing an additional source of income to support animal care activities.
Existing doors are to be closed off to create clear separation between the puppy creche/kennels and the proposed cafe.
