Healthwatch Warrington is supporting Men’s Matter Week, which runs from Monday 19 January to Friday 23 January 2026. The initiative focuses on men’s health and wellbeing across Warrington.
East Warrington and Central East Warrington Primary Care Networks (PCNs) are delivering the week alongside Healthwatch Warrington and other local organisations. Together, they aim to help men understand what support is available locally. As a result, the week also encourages more open conversations around health.
Many men face health challenges quietly. For this reason, Men’s Matter Week aims to show that help is available within the community.
Wellbeing marketplace event
A key part of the week is the Men’s Matter Week Wellbeing Marketplace, which takes place on Thursday 22 January 2026. The event will be held at the Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub.
The free event runs from 4.30pm to 6.30pm and operates as a drop-in session. However, organisers still encourage advance booking to help manage numbers.
What to expect on the day
Visitors will find information stalls from local community and support services. In addition, attendees can choose to have a blood pressure check or a mini ECG.
Free soup and a roll will also be available during the event. Meanwhile, staff and volunteers will be on hand to answer questions and offer guidance.
Who can attend
The event is open to men aged 18 and over who live or work in Central East or East Warrington. While attendance focuses on men, visitors may bring a partner, family member or trusted person for support.
Although the session is a drop-in, organisers ask people to book a free ticket in advance. Tickets are available here.
