FIREFIGHTERS were called out following reports of a large bonfire on Farmland near Thelwall Viaduct on Friday afternoon.
At 16:29 one fire crew from Birchwood attended reports of a fire on land near Warrington Road, Thelwall, near the Thelwall Viaduct.
They discovered a large bonfire made of waste material, burning on farmland.
A hose reel was used to put the fire out before the area was scanned with a thermal imaging camera.
