CARE Home residents at Stockton Heath enjoyed an afternoon of carol singing followed by surprise gifts and cards – thanks to members of the congregation from JCIM Latchford Church, Warrington.

The church members, led by Pastor Elinee dropped in on residents at L&M Healthcare’s Gainsborough House.
It was a joyful afternoon full of Christmas cheer and the management team at the home were astonished by the number of gifts that the church gave.
The 72 gifts and cards, one for each resident, were handed to residents at the end of the concert and contained a number of different toiletries.
Home manager Melissa Rosser said: “It was so kind of the church members to do this. It really warms your heart thinking about how much trouble they must have gone o gathering together 72 gifts. It’s something we won’t forget in a hurry,”
Gainsborough House provides dementia nursing, complex dementia, Acquired Brain Injury and Mental Health care for 72 residents and is one of five care homes owned by L&M Healthcare.
