TWELVE-year-old Molly Fletcher was crowned “Carnival Queen” at the

annual Croft Carnival, as hundreds of villagers paraded through the area

on a wide variety of colourful floats.
After parading through the village Molly was crowned on the Croft playing fields along with Princess Laela Sahki and Rosebud Ava Sumner.
Carnival Grandma was Margaret Sharpe who was accompanied by her husband Alan on a float made for tea for two!
Floats came in all shapes in sizes with Croft Primary School shivering their timbers as pirates while Croft WI rocked as Queen!
