A CHRISTMAS community event is to take place on the Village green at Lower Walton, Warrington on Saturday, November 29.
Organised by Walton Parish Council, it has been funded by Creamfields.
The village’s Christmas lights will be switched on, there will be carol singing, festive refreshments, face painting, balloon modelling and, of course, an appearance by Santa on his sleigh.
The event starts at 4pm.
The village green is at the junction of Worsley and Walton New Road.
