FIREFIGHTERS were called out this afternoon (Monday) following reports of a hedgerow on fire at Appleton, Warrington.
At 14:27 one crew attended the incident on Walnut Tree Lane, Appleton.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish a fire in a hedgerow. It is believed to have been ignited deliberately, and the information has been passed to the police.
