Youth bus gets a new look

THE Mobile Youth Base run by Warrington Borough Council’s youth service has a brand new look – thanks to young people from Mee Brow and Latchford East!
At the end of last year the group spearheaded the makeover of the bus with the help of and Blackpool Design Associates.
It now features new flooring, recovered seats and a fresh, new colour scheme. Young people can watch DVDs and also try their hand at Nintendo Wii games on the new flat screen television onboard.
The new-look bus will be based in the car park of The Hatter pub, Lovely Lane, Whitecross until mid-March. Its doors are open from 6.45pm until 9.10pm on Mondays and a range of different activities is organised each week by youth workers.
The bus will then move on to areas in the south and central parts of the borough after consultation with the council’s Stronger Together area co-ordinators.
