LOCAL bus company Network Warrington is once again working in partnership with Warrington Disability Partnership following the unveiling of a bus in a new livery, to promote the charity’s excellent work spanning 20 years.
This is the third bus to carry a promotional livery for the Charity and the company has also worked with the WDP over the years to improve access for disabled passengers, awareness training for staff and also provides a free shuttle bus to the annual Disability Awareness Day.
All buses used on the local bus services by Network Warrington are now fully DDA accessible, well ahead of Government legislation.
The launch ceremony was held at Warrington Town Hall when a ribbon was cut by the Mayor Cllr Mike Biggin.
WDP Chairman Dave Thompson DL MBE thanked the company for its on-going support.
