HARD-working students from Warrington Collegiate were rewarded at its Further Education Awards evening at the Parr Hall.
The ceremony celebrated the determination of students who had completed vocational qualifications in areas including Hair and Beauty, Catering, Business, Art and Design, Construction and apprenticeship programmes.
As well as the academic certificates, several students also received special awards for outstanding achievements in their subject areas.
Jonathan Cliffe, who received an Outstanding Achievement Award for work in Health and Social Care, said: “I’m overwhelmed at receiving the award and excited about my future prospects.”
UK and North West apprentice plumber of the year winner, Kristian Poyner, was awarded a special achievement Skills Award for his work on his Plumbing Advanced Apprenticeship course.
Mature Beauty student Alison Lancaster was awarded the Student Involvement Award and Skills Award.
Principal Paul Hafren said: “It’s great to be able to recognise all the hard work and dedication our students put in to their studies.
“We wish them every success as they move on to continue their studies or to employment and are glad to have played a part in helping them achieve their goals.”
