Hospital lottery
WINNING numbers in the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital were 5, 6, 8 and 9. The jackpot prize went unclaimed and a consolation prize of £25 went to a member of hospital staff.

Home alterations
PLANS for new external doors and windows, plus other alterations at Sycamore Barn, Yew Tree Farm, Broad Lane, Grappenhall, have been given the go-ahead by Warrington planning chiefs.

Cottage extension
WARRINGTON planning bosses have rejected proposals for a two storey side extension and a new, open front porch at Oaktree Cottages, Hatton Lane, Stretton.

Charity evening
THE Mayor Warrington, Coun John Joyce, is hold a cabaret at Warrington Collegiate, on May 12 at 7m, in aid of his charity appeal which supports Warrington Grassroots.
