VIDEO: CHRISTMAS has officially arrived at Walton Hall & Gardens with the opening of Warrington Disability Partnership’s fully accessible Santa’s Grotto.

The official opening was performed by six-year-old Olivia Ramsden, who has been visiting the grotto every year since she was born, as did her mother Hannah, along with Warrington’s Deputy Mayor Cllr. Graham Friend.

As well as being fully accessible for wheelchair users, there are special quiet hours for children with ADHD or for people suffering from other sensory conditions, including dementia. For the first time, there is also a special sensory area.

Bookings for the grotto, which is open every weekend up to Christmas, and every day during Christmas week, can be made online via www.disabilitypartnership.org.uk
The grotto is run in Partnership with Walton Hall & Gardens and Warrington Borough Council, helping raise funds for Warrington Disability Partnership.
