1906 bar under new management as Rylands prepare to kick off new season

WARRINGTON Rylands is delighted to announce that the former ‘Stretties Bar’ on site at Gorsey Lane is now under new management and will be run by the club itself.
This is a huge boost to the club, its supporters and the junior section as the bar has been shut for some time now.
Chairman Mark Pye explained, “We are thrilled to have reached an agreement regarding the ongoing management and utilisation of the bar which will now be rebranded as the 1906 Bar.  It gives us a place for not only our supporters to socialise in before and after the games but also a proper clubhouse for our junior section to enjoy.
‘The 1906 bar will be re-opened for the first home game of the season this Saturday against Gainsborough Trinity and moving forward will also be available to hire for private events.  The early and late kick-offs are screened on SKY each week and we look forward to having regular events that the local community can attend.  We would like to say a huge thank you to the owners for enabling us to put this deal together and ensuring Warrington Rylands FC has a fantastic facility for everyone involved with the club to enjoy.”
The blues are in action tomorrow, Saturday, Kick Off is 3pm, with the 1906 Bar open all day. There is also a junior tournament being held on Saturday at the ground, so a great day of football, food and drink is available for everyone to enjoy.
