Club starts winter training

GLAZEBURY Cricket Club has started winter training for the coming season – in the brand new, state-of-the-art sports hall at Culcheth High School.
One member says it’s the best training complex the club have ever used – and as Glazebury once trained at Lancashire’s indoor cricket school at Old Trafford, that is saying something!
The school has four lanes of brand new nets and lighting to ECB regulations so the training should give the club a great foundation for the coming season.
It will be particularly useful for 1st XI players who will, for the first time, be competing in the Cheshire Alliance first division.
Training will continue until April 9 on Saturdays.
Senior sessions are from 1-2pm, Under 13/15/18 from 2-3pm and Under 11 from 3-4pm – although this session ends on March 26.
The club has several ECB qualified coaches.
