A chance to give local kids’ clubs a £500 boost

BUILDING contractors HMS – the firm currently redeveloping Warrington’s Kingsway House – want to give £500 to kids sports clubs, teams and organisations.

And Warrington people can help them by nominating the organisations they think deserve the award.
HMS is committed to investing in and supporting local causes and has worked with numerous organisations, charities and teams over the years, gifting thousands of pounds to help fund sports kits, events and trips.

With social investment at the heart of HMS’ business model, this latest campaign will see five organisations across HMS’ areas of operations – Warrington, Liverpool, Knowsley, St Helens, and Wirral – gifted a £500 lump sum to spend on anything from a new sports kit to equipment or travel.

HMS head of Customer Excellence, Gail Farley, said: “Since 2011, HMS has actively invested in and supported a number of local sports clubs and community initiatives and now, to reflect our organisational growth, we want to offer kids sports clubs in every area we deliver services the opportunity to benefit from a funding boost.
“I’m excited to see what entries are submitted and to discover new teams and clubs that are out there and help, in whatever way we can, towards their goals – literately and figuratively!”
To nominate a club, organisation or team, simply complete the nomination form and submit it by 6pm Sunday August 28.
