Police move to reassure residents following suspicious activity at Great Sankey

POLICE have moved to reassure local residents following reports of suspicious activity in the Great Sankey area of Warrington.

Following reports of a female in dark clothing and a hoody and dark glasses with a parcel under her arm being reported in various locations, local officers located the suspect on Littleton Close and spoke to her to gather information.

The suspect has currently no fixed address however is currently staying with a friend within the area.

Officers say there is no need to worry and they are aware of the situation.

But if there is any further suspicious activity within the area then please contact the police via their Facebook page or by calling 101.
