Stolen motorbike found torched

A stolen motorbike was found torched in the Poplars & Hulme area of town by local police who are also warning people not to start fires in the wild.

The stolen bike was recovered over the weekend and had been set alight. The owner has been notified. Abandoned vehicles should be reported to Warrington Borough Council or to the police via 101.

Meanwhile, police are warning people not to start fires in the wild as they can spread out of control quickly.

Officers discovered an unattended fire in a remote part of Radley Common, Warrington. If it gets out of control in the dry weather, there is little that can be done to stop it.
