Police make six arrests for mainly drink-related or violent crimes

POLICE in Warrington made six arrests overnight for a variety of mainly drink-related or violent crimes.

A 27-year-old female was arrested in the Bewsey area for racially aggravated public order and other offences.

A 54-year- old male was arrested in the Howley area for criminal damage, while a 36-year-old male was arrested in the Latchford area for numerous domestic-related incidents.

Meanwhile, a 42year-old female was arrested in Latchford last night for assault, while a male was arrested during the early hours of this morning in the Town Centre for being drunk in charge of a motor vehicle.

A 46-year-old male was also arrested last night in the Latchford area for burglary of a dwelling.

All six were taken into custody for questioning.
