Police asked to investigate after refuse and electrical cabling set on fire

POLICE have been asked to investigate after refuse and electrical cabling were set on fire in the open at Risley, Warrington, earlier today, Monday.

Shortly after 6;30 am one crew from Warrington was called out to reports of a fire on Warrington Road, Risley, Warrington

The small fire in the open involved refuse and electrical cabling and is believed to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters used hand extinguishers to put out the fire and informed police due to the suspected nature of the cause.
