Wanted man arrested at Birchwood following police operation

A man who was wanted by Warrington Police for a number of offences committed last year was arrested during the early hours of this morning following a police operation at Birchwood.

At around 9 pm on Sunday 22 May officers from Warrington undertook an operation to locate the wanted man.

The 30-year-old man was located and arrested in the Birchwood area at around 12.30 am on Monday 23 May. He remains in custody at his time.
