FIRE service experts at Warrington are to investigate the cause of a fire which destroyed a car – and the garage in which it was kept – during the night.
The blaze was in Forshaw Street, off Orford Lane, Warrington and involved a detached garages belonging to a nearby terraced house.
At its peak, the fire service was using a main jet, two hosereel jets and breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze.
A firefighter at the scene said: “It was well alight when we got there.
“At the moment we are uncertain of the cause but we will be investigating later today.”
Police were also caused to the scene.
