Charity issues warning about fraudulent collections in the Birchwood area

VIDEO: THE Royal Association for Deaf People has issued a warning about fraudulent charity collections taking place in the Birchwood area of Warrington.

The charity says it has received reports of an individual or group of people acting fraudulently in the area making door-to-door collections.

They have produced a video on youtube warning people to be on the lookout for the fraudsters and to report anyone door knocking in the area claiming to be from the charity to report it to police.

THE Royal Association for Deaf People does not do doorstep or street collections.

If anyone is aware of anyone making door to door colelctions or street collections claiming to be from the charity please send them a direct message to [email protected] and inform the police.
