TWO friends who used to attend Friday night dances at Padgate, Warrington in the Fifties and Sixties are planning a reunion.
They are asking anyone who attended the dances at Padgate School Hall to get in touch with them.
When they have some idea of the numbers involved they will fix a date and venue.
They are Sheila Teasdale (nee Rigby) and Joyce Rutter (nee Boardman)
The two pensioners have many happy memories of the dances.
Sheila said: “We want to organise a rock ‘n’ roll night reunion.
“People used to come to the dances from all over Warrington, not just Padgate. They were really great nights.”
