Man charged with wounding and possessing a bladed article following serious assault at Lymm

A 37-year-old Warrington man has been charged in connection with a serious assault on Pepper Street in Lymm last July.

Andrew Potter, of Thelwall New Road in Warrington, was arrested at an address in Latchford on Friday 8 October.



He has since been charged by Cheshire Police with section 18 wounding with intent and possession of a bladed article. He appeared at Crewe Magistrates Court on Saturday 9 October and was remanded in custody.
Potter is due to appear at Chester Crown Court on Friday 5 November.
The charges relate to a 36-year-old man assaulted on Pepper Street, Lymm, on Monday 19 July.
