MODEL railway enthusiasts are in for a treat on Sunday (September 12) when Thelwall and Grappenhall Model Railway Club stage an open day.
The event is the first the club has been able to put on for two years because of the pandemic.
So they are preparing a special effort at their headquarters, Grappenhall Community Centre, in Bellhouse Lane.
There will be a number of layouts on show in various guages, plus a digital 00 guage layout.
The show will be open to visitors between `12 noon and 4pm and refreshments will be available from the community centre bar.
Admission is £2 for adults, with children under 14 admitted free
The club is always looking for new members – beginners or experts – to help operate and develop their layouts.
