DOGGY TV star “Dangerous Dave” is to take part in a half marathon in Warrington to raise funds for The Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation.
On Sunday October 3, Rachael Owen and her Pedigree Miniature Schnauzer Dangerous Dave will take part in the New Balance English Half Marathon to help raise funds for the Peace Centre in Warrington.
Earlier this year Dave embraced the world of TV, when he entered into a competition to be Toto in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s new production of the Wizard of Oz.
After meeting all the “Dorothys” and displaying excellent acting skills and behaviour – Dangerous Dave was delighted to be named the winner of the Children’s Vote. He later won the overall competition where the prize is a chance to appear in a special one-off Gala Performance early next year.
Recently Dave joined Danielle Hope, the show’s winner, on a national magazine’s photo shoot, performed some tricks live on stage in London’s West End and has supported various charities and events.
Dave will be running the final leg of the race with Rachael through Victoria Park on the day.
The race is still open for entries until Sunday September 12, and details are on www.english-half.co.uk
