WARRINGTON Rylands maintained their 100% start to their debut season in the Northern Premier League West with a 2-1 win away at Newcastle Town.
One of just four teams to have won both their opening league games Rylands followed up Saturday’s win against Leek Town with a 2-1 away win at Newcastle Town last night.
Ste Milne gave the Blues, playing in red, the perfect start heading home after just three minutes before debutant Luke Wall double the advantage calmly slotting home to end a good passing movement.
Newcastle pulled a goal back through Jack van der Laan on the stroke of halftime in front of a crowd of 103.
The home side pushed for an equalizer in the second half but could not find a way past a resolute Rylands defence.
Warrington Rylands are next in action on Saturday when they visit Prestwich Heys in the FA Cup preliminary round, kick-off 3pm.
