TWO fire crews from Lymm and Warrington were called out to a fire involving an oil-powered boiler at a house in Antrobus earlier today, Thursday.

Shortly after 7.30am firefighters were called to reports of a fire at a residential property on Knutsford Road, Antrobus.

Two fire engines attended the scene and they found the fire had involved an oil-powered boiler, which was out on arrival.
The crews checked the boiler with a thermal imaging camera and there were still a number of hotspots, so they remained at the scene as a precaution.
Firefighters were in attendance for around 40 minutes.
