WARRINGTON Borough Council is to make an order to enable a footpath along the A49 London Road, Stockton Heath to be closed for up to three weeks.
The order, which comes into effect on May 17, from 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, is to enable highway improvements as part of the extension and refurbishment of The Forge car park.
Access will be under the control of the contractor and an alternative route will be signposted.
The stretch of footpath to be closed is from its limits with the car park to the intersection with the path to St Thomas’ Church.
