POLICE at Lymm have been carrying out high visibility patrols around the village following ongoing issues of youths involved in anti-social behaviour and cold callers.

There was a high visibility patrol around Warrington Road, Whitbarrow Road and Star Lane at Statham, after numerous reports of anti-social behaviour, involving youths on bikes.
Officers also carried out a visibility foot patrol on Lymm High School after more reports of anti-social behaviour, especially in the evening.
Police will continue to patrol the areas and residents are asked to report issues via 101 or 999 in an emergency.

Meanwhile, there have been reports and concerns about people knocking on doors claiming to be from companies, asking questions which are concerning the homeowners
Police recommend that if someone knocks on your door and you are unsure do not pass any personal information and don’t answer to them.
Posters are available to put up on doors telling people no cold calling at the address.
These are available to local residents by messaging Lymm Police via their facebook page
