THE Spire Cheshire Hospital at Stretton, is putting a smile on the faces of local children this bank holiday, thanks to patients and staff donating to its Easter egg collection throughout March.
The hospital collected 122 chocolate eggs for The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust – a charity providing once in a lifetime trips and experiences for terminally ill, disabled, and disadvantaged children from all over the North West.
Spire Cheshire also supported the charity at Christmas time with their festive selection box appeal.
Cheryl Ward, Interim Hospital Director, said “We’re pleased to be able to support such a lovely charity and will continue to do so in any way we can throughout 2021.
“Everyone could use a bit of cheering up at the moment, and we’re really grateful to our patients and staff members for helping us to spread some cheer to disadvantaged children across the North West this Easter time.”
Helen Crowther, Senior Trust Fundraiser and Press Officer at the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust, said “We’d like to say a big thank you to Spire Cheshire for continuing to help us, we’re really grateful and we know the children we support will be too!”
