Family appeal for help to find missing Woolston man Geoff Sutcliffe

THE family of missing Woolston man Geof Sutcliffe has reached out to the public for help to find the 61-year-old dad, who disappeared from his home last Wednesday.

Following some reported sightings his daughter Megan and her cousin Charlotte have reached out on social media appealing for help from members of the public who are out walking.
Daughter Megan Sutcliffe has put out an appeal on social media saying: “PLEASE I am asking anyone who can walk around the weir/ Latchford area looking for my dad to help us – Possible sighting at Black Bear Bridge/ near Victoria Park. Please just anywhere you can think to check even around Warrington – He could be anywhere, his passion is fishing so we’ve been mainly looking at lakes or rivers, if you know my dad he may of mentioned somewhere at some point he’d like to go fishing or walking – so please just think if he could of mentioned anywhere nearby. We’re just desperate for help in bringing my dad home, if you do see him try and comfort him and reassure him we aren’t mad at him leaving and we just want him home safe.
“People should be able to message me directly through facebook if you hear or see anything contact myself and the police (call 101 quoting IML 924672)
“If anyone can print some photos themselves that I’ll attach of him below just to ask anyone around them if they’ve seen him, I would really appreciate it.”
Geoff Sutcliffe left his home in the Woolston area of the town between 10.30am and 12 noon on Wednesday 24 February.
The 61-year-old has not been seen since.
He is white, around 5’ 7” tall and has a large build and very short grey hair.
Geoff was wearing a black zip-up hooded jacket, blue jeans and black and red Nike trainers when he left his home on foot.
He may have had a blue fleece jumper on underneath his jacket.
Her cousin Charlotte Sutcliffe has also put out an appeal saying: “If you’re out on a walk this weekend in the Warrington area, particularly Stockton Heath, Grappenhall, Appleton, Thelwall, Latchford or any fishing areas -please keep a look out for my Uncle Geoff. We’ve had a couple of confirmed sightings. He just needs reassuring that all is okay and we just want him home… his kids, his wife, his dad all need him home!
