STAFF and residents at two Warrington care homes have been busy spreading Christmas cheer with their very own pantomime production of Cinderella.

This year has been especially hard on the staff and residents in care homes so Joseph Ward, activity manager at Green Park, came up with the initiative, going above and beyond to give everyone a little bit of fun and laughter over the festive period.
He said: “It was a massive task to set but the goal that kept us focused was imagining how much fun every single resident and member of staff would have creating and watching the pantomime.
“There is no doubt that the staff have brightened up the residents’ lives and been there for them and each other throughout the year, but we decided to take it a step further and put on a show!”
Orchard’s chief executive Hayden Knight, said “I’m extremely proud of every member of staff at all of our homes. The level of commitment and dedication from staff this year has meant that we’ve been able to do our utmost to keep residents safe and healthy.
“A special well done and thank you to Joseph Ward for lifting our spirits and bringing everyone together during challenging and unusual times.”
