Man arrested after threatening supermarket staff with needle

A man wanted on recall to prison was arrested by police after threatening staff at a Warrington supermarket with a needle.

The incident took place at the ALDI supermarket on Bankside where the male was arrested for an allegation of theft and threats towards staff with a needle.
The threats were a Breach of a Criminal Behaviour Order – not to cause harassment, alarm or distress to any person within Cheshire.
He was also wanted on a Recall to Prison and was taken into custody.
