Drugs and knives seized during police raid

DRUGS and knives were seized during a police raid at a property in the Padgate area of Warrington.

Officers executed a Warrant under Section 23 Misuse Of Drugs Act 1974 at the property in the Padgate area.
One person was arrested on suspicion of Possession with Intent to Supply Class B Drugs. Officers and Drugs Dog searched the address where they located a quantity of drugs and associated paraphernalia which has now been seized.
A number of weapons were also seized as part of #OpSceptre.
A police spokesperson said: “Drugs and weapons are not welcome in our communities. We will continue to work hard to deny criminals the opportunity to operate on our streets.”
