CRICKET in Cheshire resumes on Saturday April 18 – with all the clubs in the Warrington area opening their seasons.

Grappenhall will be entertaining Cheadle Hulme and hoping 2026 will bring them more luck than last year’s disastrous season when they were relegated from the Cheshire County League division one with only one 1st XI victory – and that one right at the end of the season.
The 2nd XI will be travelling to Haslington.
Warrington will also start their campaign at home, hosting Middlewich.
The 2nd XI will travel to Heaton Mersey.

In the Cheshire League, Lymm Oughtrington Park will host Bunbury at Oughtrington Lane.
Lymm 2nd will be at Middlewich while the new 3rd XI will play their first game on the new third ground against Weaverham.
Appleton will travel to Chester County Officers, Appleton 2nd will be at Timperley and Appleton 3rd will host Oakmere.
Glazebury 1st and 2nd XIs will take on Winnington Park and Oakmere respectively.
