Firefighters help rescue person after car collides into hedge

EMERGENCY services were called out after a car careered into a hedge at Penketh, Warrington, on Wednesday afternoon.

At 16:18 one crew from Penketh was called out to reports of a single vehicle collision on Clifford Road in which one vehicle had left the roadway and collided with hedges.
Firefighters cut away at the hedges to allow the person to safely exit their vehicle.
Police were also in attendance at this incident.
