FOUR nearby residents have lodged objections to a plan to demolish an existing garage to make way for two-and-a-half storey house in London Road, Stretton, Warrington.
They claim the property – which would have a shared driveway with the adjoining property and a new access onto London Road – would be overbearing and cause a loss of daylight and privacy for neighbours.
Stretton Parish Council has also objected on the grounds there would be public safety risks and a high potential for accidents during the build phase.
But planning officers are recommending the scheme be approved by the borough council’s development management committee .
