OFFICERS investigating reports of a serious assault at Latchford, Warrington, have charged two local men in connection with the incident.
Madalin Dragan, 23, of Oldham Street, Latchford, and George Grancea, 35, also of Oldham Street, Latchford, were arrested on Monday, 9 March.
They have since been charged with wounding/inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent.
The pair appeared at Warrington Magistrates’ Court today, Tuesday, 10 March, and have been remanded in custody to appear at Chester Crown Court on Tuesday, 7 April.
The charges relate to reports of an assault in Oldham Street, Latchford, on Monday, 9 March, in which a 54-year-old man suffered serious injuries.
