VIDEO: AS Slimeville Warrington prepares to open this weekend, Saturday March 14th, Warrington Worldwide was given an exclusive look inside the old Hippodrome Palace Theatre building, which has undergone a major transformation.

Described as the UK’s most colourful family attraction, Slimeville is opening its biggest and most exciting venue yet in the building last used as a nightclub, which has now been transformed into an award-winning interactive slime and play experience.

At the heart of the new venue are Slimeville’s legendary slime bowls — huge, color-splashed stations filled with slimes of every texture and shade imaginable. Every child gets to create their own unique slime during a special 30-minute customising event, led by Slimeville’s energetic staff and special guest performers. Expect music, lights, theatrics, and playful dance routines that transform slime-making into a live show!
Every ticket at Slimeville includes unlimited access to all attractions — once you’re inside, every game and interaction is completely free. Guests can also explore the brand-new Slime & Toy Shop, designed for kids and adults with a child’s soul — a treasure trove of creative toys, collectibles, and slime kits to take the fun home.
Following its huge success in Liverpool, Slimeville Warrington has been constructed on a much larger scale — featuring three times the soft-play area, more games, and a dedicated second-floor party and event zone for birthdays, group visits, and private celebrations.
Visitors can look forward to a lineup of immersive attractions, including: VR Slime Arcade – step into a virtual world of gooey fun. 3D Painting Projection Game – paint in mid-air with color and light. Magic Ball Projection Game – turn playtime into a digital adventure. Summer Beach Interactive Sand Pool – a sensory, seaside-inspired playground. Save the World Water Shooter & Vital Diving Team Games – team-based fun with motion-tracking tech.
But that’s just the start! Slimeville Warrington will also feature:

•A gift-winning machine with exciting prizes. (£2 a go)
•Two interactive karaoke booths for friends and families.
•Two customizable cotton candy machines and two popcorn stations — all interactive and child-friendly.
•A Doll Stuffing Machine where kids can choose and fill their own plush toys.
•A dining area with projection games on the tables, turning mealtime into an immersive experience.

And to top it all off — Slimeville Warrington will feature a nightclub-quality sound and lighting system, creating the perfect atmosphere for daily entertainment and special themed events.
The entire interior is being designed by industry-leading construction and creative firms, with art installations by a renowned graffiti artist, ensuring every corner of the venue bursts with color, imagination, and unforgettable photo opportunities.
At Slimeville, inclusion is at the heart of everything we do. Our venues are fully wheelchair and pram accessible, ensuring that every guest can explore, play, and create comfortably. We’re also proud to host dedicated SEN (Special Educational Needs) sessions, designed with calmer lighting, reduced noise, and smaller group sizes to provide a more relaxed and sensory-friendly experience. These sessions give families and children the freedom to enjoy the magic of Slimeville in a way that feels safe, supported, and truly welcoming.
“Slimeville Warrington will be our most ambitious project yet,” said Metin Arayo, Director and Co-founder of Slimeville Ltd. “It’s not just about play — it’s about imagination, creativity, and shared experiences. We wanted to build a place where families can laugh, move, create, and make memories together.”
