A 34-year-old Warrington man has been charged with violence offences, including making threats to kill and intentional strangulation, following an incident during the early hours of yesterday, Sunday.
Rory Gilchrist was arrested at around 6.10am on Sunday 8 March.
Gilchrist, of Padgate Lane, Warrington, has since been charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent, threats to kill and intentional strangulation.
He appeared at Warrington Magistrates’ Court this morning, Monday 9 March, where he was remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Tuesday 7 April.
The charges relate to an incident that occurred on Sunday 8 March at around 4am.
