Pupils from St Gregory’s Catholic High School are set to take to the airwaves at the town’s community radio station, Radio Warrington.

Their new show, School’s Out, starts on 22nd March and will broadcast on the 4th Sunday of each month.
Radio Warrington are delighted to have this opportunity to offer a different learning environment to the pupils and give them an insight into the world of radio.
The pupils are selecting their own music and will add their own stamp to our diverse schedule of shows.

The first show has music ranging from ABBA to Metallica and also has a comedy sketch produced and performed by some of the pupils.
Kevin Farrell from the station went back to school recently to produce the new show. Kevin thanked the pupils for their enthusiasm and also the Headteacher, Mr McGlinchey and staff for their support.
