PROPERTY consultants Watling Real Estate have been appointed to advise on the disposal of Caldwell Construction properties in Warrington and Stoke-on-Trent after the £58m turnover company, which employed over 400 people, went into administration.
Watling Real Estate has been appointed to sell the properties affected by the administration of the Warrington-based national groundworks and civil engineering firm Caldwell Construction Ltd.
Oliver Collinge and James Sleight of PKF Littlejohn Advisory were appointed joint administrators over the business on 15 January 2026.
The properties include the company’s former modern office headquarters at Centre Park, Warrington (pictured) and the company’s former operation base at Brick Kiln Lane, Stoke-on-Trent.
Alex Sweetman, director in the Leeds office of Watling Real Estate, said they were currently assessing the properties with a view to bringing them to the market in the coming days.
Caldwell Construction Ltd was incorporated in 2007 and grew to employ over 400 people with a turnover of around £58 million.
The business operated from a northern office at Caldwell House in Warrington, a 6,000 sq ft, two storey office building on the well-established Centre Park.
It also had a larger Midlands operating base at Brick Kiln Lane in Stoke-on-Trent, comprising a contractor’s yard, offices, workshops and a warehouse. The securely fenced site is self-contained and fronts Brick Kiln Lane.
There are further freehold commercial premises at Leonard Street, Stoke-on-Trent which are currently fully let.
Further information on all three properties is available from Alex Sweetman at alex.sweetman@watling.com
